Featured children, families, community and business leaders celebrating with special musical guest The Lucas Cates Band, as the playground equipment arrived.
Outback Steakhouse Alumni Event (6/1/08)
Bobcat alumni reunited with old friends and new neighbors over a fabulous Outback Steakhouse meal that featured grilled steak and chicken with all the fixings.
LVM Dreams Big Golf Spectacular at the Oaks (6/23/08)
Pat Richter, former Athletic Director and sports star from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and Chief Meteorologist Bob Lindmeier kicked-off a day of 18 holes of golf and good times at one of Wisconsin’s premier golf courses.
Madison Marathon (5/25/08)
LVM Dreams Big runners including Jalen (12 yrs), Joel (LVM Dreams Big co-founder), and five additional Betsinger family members pushed Noah (8 yrs.) across the Madison (half) Marathon finish line with big thumbs up! Team LVM Dreams Big raised over $500+ in pledges with the run and raised awareness for the need to include everyone in physical activity.
The Great Dane Garden Opening featuring Bret Bielema (5/6/08)
Matt LePay and the Badger Football Coach shared insight about the coming season and thanked guests for sharing the dream. A supper club dinner featuring selections from local growers and organic meat producers set the stage for the first taste of the Supper Club Lager (created by the Brewmasters of the Great Dane and Capital Brewery) while Lucas Cates’ amazing performance capped-off a night to remember.
Pizza and a Movie (4/9/08)
High School Musical the movie (sing-along version) offered children and parents a fun activity for an early release school day.
Create a Playground Tile (3/17/08-present)
Fired Up Pottery offers an opportunity to make a family memory. Families, friends and Girl Scout Troops paint ceramic tiles to be displayed on the playground.
Leap Into Art (2/29/08)
The chili dinner and silent art auction offered parents the opportunity to purchase a bowl or placemat created by the children of LVM as well as fine art donated by many local artists.
Fired Up Pottery Night (1/11/08)
More than 80 ceramic bowls were painted to raise money for the playground and fun was had by all.
Snowflake Ball (12/14/07)
Families shared the warmth of the season while dancing the night away. The Picture People captured families in the finest creating memories to last a lifetime. Music graciously provided by Havin’ a Blast Entertainment.
Great Dane Night! (12/4/07)
Over 10 inches of snow could not keep very special guests; Mayor Dave, Reggie Bicha among others from helping us kick-off the greater Madison fundraising campaign in style.
Recycling Month (11/6/07 - present)
Students and staff started collecting cans, cell phones and ink cartridges to benefit the playground.
Bowling for Boundless (10/21/07)
Dream Lanes welcomed LVM Dreams Big supporters and helped raise funds while knocking a few pins down.

Welcomed over 400 students back and unveiled the LVM Dreams Big Playground Plan.
